Born in 1979, artist Hayley Elizabeth founded the FLOX Studio in 2003.

Today, FLOX is one of New Zealand’s most widely recognized contemporary artists. She frequently collaborates with communities, using site-specific murals to tell local stories and reflect on environmental issues within the area.

Internationally renowned, her large-scale murals can be found in residential and commercial spaces across the United States, Europe, Asia, and New Zealand. Her work also holds strong commercial appeal.

In addition to her signature murals, she has expanded her practice into a wide range of product collaborations, working with brands such as BLUNT, Air New Zealand, Bosch, PlayStation, and TVNZ. Through a highly diverse artistic approach, she continues to adapt to the evolving commercial landscape while remaining committed to the integrity of her artistic vision.
