From April 23 to 26, the 7th Beijing Urban Art Fair (AFIH2026) was held at the Parkview Green Hotel Beijing. This year, Auckland International Art Space was invited to participate, presenting works by 12 Chinese and New Zealand artists in Gallery 1613.
Auckland International Art Space is dedicated to showcasing the diverse and multi-ethnic artistic landscape of New Zealand, featuring both the passion and exuberance of Western art and the ancient and mysterious vitality of Maori art, opening a window for every art lover to experience the unique creative breath of this land.
This exhibition is divided into two main themes: “Classical Art” and “Contemporary Art,” encompassing various forms such as painting and art derivatives. Artists from New Zealand and China, with their unique perspectives and languages, jointly present an artistic dialogue that transcends geographical boundaries.
During the four-day exhibition, the exhibition hall welcomed friends from the art, technology, and entertainment circles, as well as many international visitors who came specifically to check it out, creating a lively and heartwarming atmosphere. In this era full of uncertainties, everyone embarked on a shared commitment to something beautiful—a love for art and a love for life.
The Hotel Éclat is itself a temple of art. It houses the largest collection of original Salvador Dalí works in Asia. The creators of Parkview Green, with their passion for art, have left Beijing with a public space where people can relax and experience beauty. To have this exhibition exhibited here is both a matter of fate and an honor.
The 2026 Beijing Urban Art Fair has successfully concluded. Thank you to everyone who attended, and thank you to this group of people who came together because of art.
